Origin France.
Principly composed of the "Aglandau" olive variety, it is a ripe fruity olive oil, vigorous, blazing and persistent with aroma of raw artichoke and green apples.
The aroma are powerfull.
It is a smooth olive oil without being heavy with a beautifull taste in your mouth because of its long standing taste.
Its abundance allows it to marry with all culinary agreements.
Perfect on all typical salads like rocket or corn salad, ideal also for meats such a lamb, game and pigeon.
The Haute Provence olive oil obtained its PDO in December 1999.
The olive trees are located at the sunny side of the hills at medium altitude so that they benefit of a special microclimate that keeps them away from insects and parasites.
in this way the growers only hav eto clean them, trim them and harvest them.
The bassin of the PDO olive oil spreads to 4 departments: The Alps of Haute Provence (83 towns), Var (4 towns), Bouches du Rhône (2 towns), Vaucluse (6 towns).
